Crescent City Lodge No. 73 works with multiple local and national charities to provide support to our community and fulfill the goals of our order “to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan.”

This 156 bed state-of-the-art war veteran’s home opened on June 4, 2007. Only 27 miles from New Orleans, it is conveniently located next to the St. John’s Parish Senior Citizens Center and the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The facility offers a wide variety of amenities, including a theater room, a large chapel, in addition to complete medical care including skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, Alzheimer/Dementia care, in-house pharmacy, hospice care.
Our lodge participates in several annual events at the home, including Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, providing food and services to the residents. With your help, we can provide more support to service veterans from all U.S. Services who are in need of our assistance.

For more than 65 years, Children’s Hospital New Orleans has delivered expert pediatric healthcare for children across our region as the first and largest free-standing children’s Hospital in Louisiana. They provide unmatched pediatric expertise with a vision to change the face of pediatric healthcare for all children.
Crescent City Lodge No. 73 participates in new clothing and toy drives for both children and parents whose lives have been interrupted with medical emergencies. Our assistance directly helps to fill in the gaps not covered by other financial contributions that exclude clothing and toys.

Crescent City Odd Fellows Lodge No.73 participates in multiple facets of the VOA mission, contributing, donating and volunteering to benefit VOA programs, from shelters for the unhoused, to supporting the care of those with Intellectual Disabilities in the care of Volunteers of America New Orleans. We can continue to do even more with your support and participation!
